Extension, Refurbishment, Remedial and Complete Services Upgrade

This coastal apartment block required major remedial works and a structural rebuild including the demolition of 3 lower apartments with complete rebuild and amalgamation to one multi-story apartment, refurbishment of 3 upper apartments and a complete fire upgrade.

50% of the building had to be retained in order to maintain current planning controls for the approved envelope. CMS took full control of the DA process with numerous council, community and client meetings. Our team worked closely with our selected consultants to achieve a stunning, statuesque design for this building.

Other challenges also included a steep site, water ingress and protecting adjoining properties during excavation and construction. Detailed planning with all stake holders was led by our Senior Project Manager, representing our client through every stage, and ensuring all finishes were of the highest quality.
